Get Production Access to Payer FHIR R4 Endpoints

To sync your API keys with all of our Health Plan customer environments, you must complete our Privacy and Security form and submit evidence of connecting to our Demo Health Plan environment.

Set Up Production Access

Before you can get access to customer environments, you must request access to the 1up Production environment.

  1. Complete the Privacy & Security Attestation questionnaire.

Make sure to review the 1upHealth public API terms and conditions.

  2. Send an email to cms-prod-access@1up.health with the following information.

    • Your application Terms Of Service (link or attachment)

    • Your application Privacy Policy (link or attachment)

    • A square logo for your application (link or attachment)

    • A user-facing support email address

    • A point of contact for security-related questions (not user-facing)

    • A brief description of your application

The description should include the purpose, benefits, and personas the application serves (such as members, Health Plan administrators).

    • Are your customers direct consumers or intermediary third-party organizations?

If consumers, what is the cost of the application for consumers?

    • Whether you have a test instance of your application available for demonstration purposes?

  3. Capture a screen recording video of your application connecting to our Demo Health Plan environment, showing synthetic patient data in your front-end application.

This recording should show an ability to connect to raw FHIR, and also demonstrate how the data is rendered and used in your application.

For information about how to connect to our Demo Health Plan sandbox environment, see Test Your Application in the Sandbox.

  4. Submit the screen recording to cms-prod-access@1up.health.

We will review your information and request, and either approve it or request changes or clarifications.

After we approve your Production access request, your API keys and redirects URIs are synced with our CMS Health Plan customer environments.

You can’t use a localhost redirect with our Production environments. You can only use localhost in the 1up Sandbox for testing initial development.
